This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for all services offered through our website.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing or booking any service.

1. Nature of Our Services

Next Visa Step provides:

  • Digital nomad visa guidance
  • Visit visa assistance
  • Document apostille and legalization support
  • Professional document preparation
  • File review and consultation services

Because these services involve time, expert guidance, and personalized work, refunds are limited.

We do not issue refunds for outcomes beyond our control, including embassy decisions, visa rejections, or processing delays.

2. Consultation Fees (Non-Refundable)

All consultation fees are:

  • 100% non-refundable
  • Charged for expert time, evaluation, and guidance
  • Not dependent on whether you continue with our service afterward

Once a consultation is booked, no refund is available.

If you miss your appointment time, you can request one free reschedule within 7 days.

3. Service Payments

Payments for services such as:

  • Document preparation
  • Visa file compilation
  • Apostille support
  • Legalization/attestation coordination

…are refundable only if work has not started.

Refund eligibility BEFORE work begins:

You may request a refund within 24 hours of payment if no work has started.

No refund AFTER work has started:

Once our team begins:

  • Document review
  • Draft preparation
  • Embassy requirement checks
  • File building

…your order becomes non-refundable.

4. Government Fees & Third-Party Charges

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Embassy or consulate fees
  • VFS/Gerry’s fees
  • Courier charges
  • MOFA/attestation fees
  • Translation charges
  • Apostille/legalization fees
  • Travel insurance or flight reservations

These are third-party costs and non-refundable by nature.

5. Visa Rejection Policy

Visa approval is the decision of the:

  • Embassy
  • Consulate
  • Immigration officer

Next Visa Step cannot influence the outcome.

We do not offer refunds for visa refusals.
Our responsibility is to prepare your documents to the best professional standard.

6. Service Cancellation by Client

You may cancel a service before we start working on it.
If work has not started AND it is within the 24-hour window, a refund may be issued after deduction of:

  • Payment gateway fees
  • Administrative charges (if applicable)

7. Service Cancellation by Next Visa Step

We may cancel a service if:

  • You provide incorrect, false, or incomplete information
  • You misuse our services
  • You violate our Terms of Use
  • External factors make service delivery impossible

In such cases:

  • If no work has started → partial refund may be issued
  • If work has started → no refund is available

8. Processing of Refunds

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refund is sent using the same payment method used during purchase
  • Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
