Employees of companies established outside Indonesia may qualify for the E33G remote worker visa, which carries the highest income bar of any route we cover.

The short answer
Two money tests, and the application needs both.
The amount is one thing, the proof is another. The Directorate asks for a bank account that proves the salary and a three month statement showing your name, the period and the balance. It names no longer period for the income. We prepare twelve months of salary credits, our advice rather than an Indonesian rule, so the annual figure is visible.
What the government charges
7,000,000 IDR for a one year stay, which the Directorate splits across the visa, a verification fee, the limited stay permit and the re-entry permit. It is paid online after you apply. Translations and anything your bank charges are your own costs. Our fee is separate.

What the list does not ask for. The E33G page names no apostille, no translation and no police certificate. Silence there is not an exemption, and the immigration officer can ask for more, so we check whether any of your documents need one before you upload.
Ninety days to enter. The visa must be used within 90 days of issue. When the officer admits you, the limited stay permit and the re-entry permit are issued automatically, and a physical card is available at the immigration office. Extensions are applied for online.
Filing from Pakistan: online, through the Directorate's eVisa portal, after creating an account. No Indonesian sponsor is needed, and the Directorate states five working days after payment. Read its own list before you upload.

Questions
Salary or income of at least $60,000 a year, shown through your bank account, which is about $5,000 a month. Separately, a three month bank statement holding at least $2,000 as proof of living costs. You need both.
The application is made online on the eVisa portal, and no Indonesian sponsor is needed. Pakistan is not on the restricted calling-visa lists published by the immigration offices we checked. We confirm the portal accepts your application before you pay.
The special requirement is an employment agreement with a company established outside Indonesia. The list has no equivalent document for invoicing your own clients, so a freelancer without an employer does not match what the Directorate asks to see.

No. Holders are prohibited from working for compensation from individuals or companies in Indonesia, and from selling goods or services except where the job itself requires it.
The E33G page says nothing about family. Family members would need their own stay permit, and we have not found an official page tying one to this visa, so we check it case by case rather than promise it.
The E33G page does not address tax, and we have found no official exemption for remote workers. Indonesian tax law treats someone present for more than 183 days in twelve months as resident. Speak to an Indonesian adviser before you plan around it.
The Directorate says the stay permit can be extended and transferred to other stay permits. It does not say this route leads to permanent stay, so we do not claim that it does.
